Professional Graphic Background

My graphic design background from the beginning involves a few years as a corporate employee, many years as a self-employed graphic artist in print media, and recent years as a web and print designer. My creative skills evolved into digital design and production during the transition of desktop publishing. Today, I continue as a self employed service provider for web design and maintenance, print media, page layout, marketing presentations, image file management, print vendor research, other consultation and analysis services.

My background is primarily in the biotech and technology industries supporting technical writers, scientists, labeling, and marketing with a large variety of projects. Prior to becoming a freelancer, my experience was within graphic departments in a corporate environment.

Educational background is a Fine Arts degree with a minor in Industrial Technology – graphic arts industry focus.

My ongoing commitments are web and print design services for a school district, print media specialist for scientific conference posters, and maintaining web sites for a few non-profit organizations. Additional opportunities are currently being investigated. I look forward to working with new clients and projects.
